Traveler Rules & Guidelines
Everything you need to know to be a responsible traveler on HanditGo. Read this before accepting your first delivery.
Identity & KYC
You must complete identity verification (KYC) via Didit before you can accept any delivery request. This is a one-time process that typically completes within minutes. KYC requires a government-issued photo ID (passport or national ID) and a real-time selfie. Your documents are processed securely by Didit and are not stored on HanditGo's servers.
Providing false identity information is grounds for permanent account ban and referral to law enforcement.
Trip Verification
When posting a trip, you must upload a clear photo or PDF of your flight booking confirmation (e-ticket). Your flight number, date, origin, and destination are cross-checked against live aviation databases. Your trip remains in "Pending Verification" until verified — you cannot be matched with senders until verification passes.
Posting fake trips, manipulating flight data, or using another person's booking is prohibited and constitutes fraud.
Collateral Commitment
Before a delivery match is confirmed, you must deposit collateral proportional to the item's declared value. This deposit is:
- Fully refunded upon successful delivery confirmation
- Partially forfeited if you fail to deliver without valid cause
- Fully forfeited if the item is lost, damaged, or not delivered due to your negligence
The collateral mechanism is non-negotiable — it is HanditGo's core trust system.
Item Inspection & Acceptance
Before accepting a delivery, you have the right to inspect the item's external packaging. Take timestamped photos of the item at handoff — this is your protection against false damage claims. If the item appears tampered with, damaged, or suspicious, you may refuse it.
By accepting a delivery, you confirm that:
- The item matches the description provided by the sender
- The packaging is intact and undamaged
- You have no reason to believe the item is prohibited
Customs Compliance
You are responsible for declaring all items to customs at the destination country. HanditGo provides a customs receipt for every delivery — use it. Never make false customs declarations. Customs penalties, taxes, and duties are the responsibility of the sender unless otherwise agreed.
Important: Carrying undeclared goods is a criminal offense in most countries. HanditGo cooperates fully with customs authorities.
Delivery Completion
You must deliver the item to the recipient at the agreed location. After handoff:
- Take a photo of the delivered item with the recipient present
- Mark the delivery as complete in the app
- Your collateral is released after the sender confirms receipt
- Payment is transferred within 24 hours of sender confirmation
Prohibited Items
You must never carry prohibited items regardless of what a sender claims. Review the full prohibited items list. If a sender misrepresented an item and you carried a prohibited item unknowingly, HanditGo will support you — but you must report it immediately.
Communication
All communication with senders must happen through the HanditGo platform. Off-platform deals that bypass escrow and collateral are prohibited and void all insurance coverage and dispute protection.
Trust Score
Your trust score affects your visibility to senders and the collateral discount you receive. Scores are based on successful deliveries, dispute history, cancellation rate, and sender ratings. High-trust travelers with 10+ successful deliveries are eligible for collateral waivers on lower-value items.
