📦 For Senders

Sender Guidelines

How to use HanditGo responsibly to get your items delivered safely. Please read before posting your first request.

1

Identity Verification (KYC)

All senders must complete one-time identity verification via Didit before posting a delivery request. KYC requires a government-issued photo ID and a real-time selfie. This ensures accountability on both sides of every transaction — only verified individuals can send or carry on HanditGo.

2

Accurate Item Description

You must describe your item accurately: what it is, brand/model, approximate dimensions, and weight. Misrepresenting items — especially disguising prohibited goods as innocent items — is a serious violation that results in permanent account ban and potential criminal liability.

3

Declared Value

The declared value must reflect the actual market value of the item. Undervaluing items to reduce fees:

  • Is a customs offense in most countries
  • Reduces your insurance coverage
  • May result in claim denial if the item is lost or damaged

Maximum declared value per delivery is $2,000 USD.

4

Prohibited Items

You are solely responsible for ensuring that the items you send are legal in both the origin and destination countries. Review the Prohibited Items list before posting. If you attempt to send prohibited items, your account will be permanently banned and the matter referred to law enforcement.

5

Packaging

Items must be properly packaged to withstand typical luggage handling. Use appropriate materials:

  • Fragile items: bubble wrap + rigid box
  • Electronics: original box preferred; anti-static protection required
  • Clothing: sealed bag to prevent unintentional exposure to traveler's belongings
  • Documents: rigid envelope or tube for protection

The traveler may refuse to accept inadequately packaged items.

6

Communication with Your Traveler

Once matched, coordinate with your traveler through the HanditGo app to arrange handoff logistics. Be responsive and clear. Provide any necessary information (tracking numbers, store addresses, etc.) promptly. All communication must remain within the platform — off-platform arrangements void all protections.

7

Customs Duties & Taxes

Customs duties, taxes, and import fees at the destination are the sender's responsibility unless you've agreed otherwise with the traveler in writing via the platform. Research the import limits of the destination country for your item type before posting.

8

Confirming Receipt

When you receive your item, inspect it promptly and confirm delivery in the app within 48 hours. This releases the escrow to the traveler. If you have concerns about the condition:

  • Document the damage with photos immediately
  • Open a dispute before confirming delivery
  • Do not confirm delivery if the item is significantly damaged
9

Disputes

You have 48 hours after the expected delivery date to open a dispute. Disputes are resolved by HanditGo's team within 5 business days based on evidence submitted by both parties. False disputes or bad-faith claims will result in account suspension.
